A ring inspired by the flowing form of a freely waving flag.
Engraved on the flag are a rattlesnake motif and the phrase “Don’t be looked down on!”The design and concept are based on the Gadsden flag from the time of the American Revolutionary War, which features a rattlesnake alongside the phrase “Don’t Tread on Me.”
The Gadsden flag embodies a strong assertion of the right to freedom.“Raise the Ring” reinterprets that warning into the bold message, “Don’t be looked down on!”, delivering it as a statement to each individual.
It was created with the hope that each wearer will hold a strong sense of self and remain true to who they are.The word “color” carries meanings beyond hue, including individuality and identity, as well as a reference to a flag.
Embracing these ideas, the inner band is engraved with the phrase “Raise the SymbalS Colors!!” — a call to proudly raise your own colors.
